Holy Rosary and Saint Michael’s Church invites parishioners to join a welcome back committee that will organize new multilingual social activities in support of prayer, missionary work, and acts of worship throughout our parish. This initiative, called the Vine and Branches program, comes from the Archdiocese of Newark to support a positive experience for everyone who is returning to mass after an extended period of COVID restrictions. We especially urge young adults—those who are in their twenties, all the way up to their mid-thirties—to participate in this welcome back program so that they can directly innovate how we, as one parish family, help our brothers and sisters in the formation of their faith and in the service of their neighbors.
The program offers young adults the opportunity to explore their faith in new ways and grow in service to our Lord; to develop skillsets in community service, public outreach, nonprofit social media and digital media platforms, as well as the opportunity to make new friends not only in this parish but in other parishes in Greater Elizabeth.
The first meeting is on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the HRSM Parish Hall on 899 E Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ. Sign up for the event here and meet us on the 25th for more information on how you can grow in faith and build relationships with others with the activities offered under Vine & Branches.
