Jesus came to heal the whole person–body and soul.
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick extends to persons of acquired sickness as well as to individuals at the point of death for purposes of spiritual healing, physical recovery, or final spiritual preparation. Only an ordained priest may minister the sacrament.
Please decide arrangements with the rectory before the ailing person becomes unconscious. It is important that the ailing person to receive Anointing also enjoys the possibility of confession and reception of Holy Communion.
In this way, the last Holy Communion is called the Sacrament of the Road. Additionally, Holy Rosary & St. Michael’s Church observes a special Healing Mass every third (3rd) Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
